BIOL 7260 - Neurobiology (3) Principles and mechanisms of the nervous system in invertebrate and vertebrate organisms. Topics including neurotransmitters, effector control, integration, inhibition, and localized excitation are considered. A study of the ionic and electrical mechanisms involved in the generation and conduction of nerve impulses is also included. Prerequisite(s): permission of instructor.
