AGSC 6560 - GPS & UAS Mapping in Agriculture (3)

This course provides the fundamentals for measuring GPS coordinates, collecting remote sensing data using Unoccupied Aircraft Systems (UAS), also known as drones, and processing/interpreting remote sensing data for agricultural applications. Principles of GPS, mapping, and geospatial data processing/analysis will be covered. Emphasis will be placed on the use of GPS and UAS remote sensing technology for various precision agriculture disciplines, including plant breeding, plant physiology, crop scouting, pest management and entomology.
