ENGR 5110 - Energy Efficient Building Design 3

The Energy Efficient Building Design is to introduce methods of energy-efficient building design and sustainable performance. Topics mainly cover building envelope, mechanical systems, and renewable energy integration in buildings. Computer-based energy simulation methods and building energy standards are emphasized. Students will learn and conduct energy efficient design relating to building envelopes, optimal operation of HVAC systems, and get to know renewable energy integrated HVAC systems.
