Dynamic models and response of instruments and dynamic systems; transfer function and state space representation of mechanical, thermal, and electromechanical systems; time and frequency responses of systems; linear analysis of simple closed-loop systems; stability criteria; improvement of systems performance; and design of simple dynamic systems.
