CVEN 5800 - Advanced Steel Design (3)

Advanced topics in structural steel design, including composite design, build-up beams, plate girders, and moment resisting column base plates. Introduction to design of roof trusses, rigid frames, bridges, and multistory buildings. Structural analysis and design of steel structure. Prerequisite(s): CVEN 3440 or equivalent.
