EECE 7200 - Statistical Signal Processing (3) Introduction to random process, detection and estimation theory, maximum variance unbiased estimation, Cramer-Rao lower bound, general minimum variance unbiased estimation, best linear unbiased estimation, maximum likelihood estimation, Least square methods of estimation, method of moments: second moments analysis, Bayesian philosophy and Bayesian estimators, and applications to communications and radar systems. Pre-requisite: EECE 5220 and graduate level probability and statistics. Prerequisite(s): EECE 3200.
