The College of Engineering includes the Departments of Civil and Architectural Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, Applied and Industrial Technologies, and Computer Science. The College has about 41 faculty full-time faculty and about 98 percent of them hold Ph.D. degrees. The Tiger Institute, TSU Interdisciplinary Graduate Engineering Research, has an average operating budget of 4 million dollars per year and supports about fifteen different research projects.
