NURS 5174 - Primary Care Women Clients Clinical (1)

This clinical course focuses on advanced practice nursing and the healthcare management of women. The course applies the principles of health promotion, disease prevention, and assessment and management of common health problems in women. Course content includes developmental, physiological, pathological, and psychosocial changes relative to health maintenance, acute and chronic illnesses, and life transitions (125 clinical hours over the semester). Credit to clinical hour ratio 1:125. Prerequisite(s): Admission to the MSN/FNP program and completion of NURS 5000, NURS 5040, NURS 5040, NURS 5111, NURS 5210, and NURS 5280 with a grade of B or better.
