COMP 2400 - Computer Organization (3) This course introduces the structures and working principles of the different hardware units of a computer. Computer systems organization, the digital logic level (gates and circuits, memory), micro-architecture level (data path, microinstructions), instruction set architecture level (instruction format, addressing), basics of assembly language, and parallel computer architectures are discussed. Prerequisite(s): COMP 1500 or one semester of programming.
