MATH 3640 - Modern Algebra I (3)

A course designed to introduce students to the fundamental structures of algebra. Topics include equivalence relations, mappings, groups, subgroups, homomorphisms, factor groups, the Fundamental Theorem of Finite Abelian Groups, rings, ideals, factor rings, and fields.
