NURS 5164 - Primary Care in Pediatric Clients Clinical (2) This clinical course focuses on the delivery of advanced practice nursing and healthcare management of children and adolescents in primary care. The course includes developmental, physiological, and psychosocial changes relative to health maintenance, acute and chronic illnesses, and developmental transitions within the family context. Various clinical settings with diverse populations may be employed for clinical practice (250 clinical hours over the semester). Credit to clinical hour ratio 1:125. Prerequisite(s): Admission to the MSN/FNP program and completion of NURS 5000 , NURS 5040 , NURS 5100 , NURS 5111 , NURS 5210 , and NURS 5280 with a grade of B or better. Co-requisite(s): NURS 5160
