CHEM 3420 - General Biochemistry II (3)

(Formerly CHEM 342). A continuation of CHEM 3410 . Study of the major catabolic and anabolic pathways, including their chemical reactions, energetics, and regulation. Additional topics include hormones, vitamins, and biochemical function of various organs. Three lecture hours per week. Prerequisite(s): CHEM 3410 . Offered in fall, spring, and summer.
