CHEM 3600 - Organic Chemistry (3)

(Formerly CHEM 360). Study of important classes of organic compounds. Emphasis is placed upon the study of hydrocarbons and their principal derivatives: carbohydrates, proteins, fats, oils, vitamins, and dyes. Designed for majors in Agriculture, Home Economics, and Allied Health. Three lecture hours per week. Prerequisite(s): CHEM 1120 . Not available for students having credit for CHEM 2010 , CHEM 2020 . Offered only in fall.
