The sociological study of the phenomenon of law as a normative order examined by different schools of thought, whether distinguished with specialized personnel for the use of coercive power from customs and conventions or an authority influenced by social, religious, and cultural obligations in the light of theoretical perspectives, conceptualization of law functions, organizations, and processes of law making and the legal profession. Prerequisite(s): SOCI 2010
