URBS 3520 - The Urban and Metropolitan Economy (3)


An introduction to essential microeconomic concepts necessary for understanding the development and growth of cities and metropolitan areas. This course also covers how economic activities are located and distributed within urban and regional settings; how regional specialization is determined; how labor markets function; and the factors influencing economic growth and resource allocation in urban settings.
