PSYC 3602 - Peer Tutoring and Mentorship Training (1,2, or 3)

Psychology majors engage in service learning by serving as peer tutors and mentors to other students taking psychology courses. Students learn how to tutor and mentor by studying findings from the learning sciences on effective learning methods and study techniques, to become better learners and leaders in the academic community. This course explores ways to become socially responsible leaders by being culturally proficient and inclusive in interacting with peer tutees.
