(Formerly PHYS 361). PHYS 3610 Advanced Problem Solving in Physics (3 credit hours)
This course introduces the student to mathematical methods that are useful in physics and used to analyze and solve physical problems. Sample problems will be examined, and fundamental principles of physics and mathematics will be employed in their solutions. The topics that will be covered include matrix algebra, complex variables, special analytical functions, and differential equations.
