HPSS 2400 - Prevention and care of athletic injuries 3

This course will introduce the student to the basic concepts of prevention and care of sport-related injuries/illnesses for physically active populations. Topics covered may include all or more of the following: basic injury assessment, athletic bracing and taping, first aid, CPR, and emergency preparedness and management. Semester Major requirement Prerequisite(s): HPSS 2060 (CPR/First Aid), HPSS 2310 (Human Anatomy and Physiology) or equivalent.  CIP
