PHYS 3010 - Introduction to Modern Physics 3

An introduction to special relativity, quantum mechanics, and statistical physics.  PHYS 3010 covers the historical development of physics in the 20th century, discussing how experimental results shaped models of atomic-scale systems and motion at speeds close to the speed of light. Prerequisite(s): “C” or better in PHYS 2120, PHYS 2121, and MATH 2110 CIP
