DHYG 4210 - Dental Hygiene Research 3 DHYG 4210 (3). Designed to develop skills in scientific methods, evidence-based decision making and critical analysis of oral health research findings. Emphasis on types of research, levels of evidence, problem selection and hypothesis writing, research planning and design, data collection and measuring techniques, analysis and interpretation of data, research proposal writing and computer application. Acceptance into the BS Degree Completion Program may be accomplished by: (A) Meeting the requirements for admission after completion of the 79 credit hours associated with the AAS degree in Dental Hygiene at TSU. (B) Meeting the requirements for admission after graduating from another Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA)accredited AAS degree program anywhere in the country. In both cases above, proof
of Dental Hygiene Licensure is mandatory.
