DHYG 4999 - Independent Study in Dental Hygiene 1-3

DHYG 4999 Independent Study in Dental Hygiene (1-3). Independent Study in Dental Hygiene affords students the opportunity to pursue special interests or research not expounded upon in the regular curriculum. The student will conduct in-depth research on a topic pertinent in dental hygiene and develop a final project. (Offered fall, spring, summer) Prerequisites: Permission of instructor. Acceptance into the BS Degree Completion Program may be accomplished by: (A) Meeting the requirements for admission after completion of the 79 credit hours associated with the AAS degree in Dental Hygiene at TSU. (B) Meeting the requirements for admission after graduating from another Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA)accredited AAS degree program anywhere in the country. In both cases above, proof
of Dental Hygiene Licensure is mandatory.
