HONR 3110 - American Literature I (3)

A study of major American writers and literary movements, including such writers as Edwards, Franklin, Emerson, Thoreau, Hawthorne, Melville, Douglass, Dickinson, and Whitman, and such movements as Puritanism, the Enlightenment, Romanticism, and Transcendentalism. Prerequisite(s): Successful completion of ENGL 1010 and ENGL 1020 with a “C” or better.
