General Statement
The Department of Accounting, Economics, and Finance (ACEF) offers a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with two majors: Accounting and Economics and Finance. The Economics and Finance major includes two distinct concentrations, Economics and Finance, allowing students to tailor their academic experience based on career interests in public policy, economic research, financial services, corporate finance, and investment analysis.
Through rigorous coursework, experiential learning, and faculty mentorship, the department prepares students for graduate and professional studies, as well as for industry-recognized certifications such as the CPA, CFA, and CFP. Programs emphasize data-driven decision-making, ethical leadership, and critical thinking, equipping graduates with the analytical and professional skills needed to thrive in today’s dynamic global economy.
