An introductory course on properties and selection of materials covering atomic structure and bonding; crystal structures; crystalline and non-crystalline solids; mechanical properties of materials; polymers; phase diagrams; engineering alloys; ceramics; composite materials; and electrical, optical, and magnetic properties of materials.
